Today’s legal profession is heavily dependent on electronic and written communication. Email and documents are its lifeblood so the need to manage them and provide the levels of resource to operate efficiently are one of the challenges that the firm’s IT strategy has to incorporate. Another feature of life in a modern day law firm is the ability to work remotely away from the office, allowing work to be done at an optimal time for both the client and the firm.

The solution meant working very closely with Orange Information System Group consultants, who liaised with both Taylor Vinters and Taylor Vinters’ existing product suppliers. The need was to integrate and update disparate systems into a single cohesive approach without disrupting the users.

Steve Sumner, the Director of IT at Taylor Vinters, had previous experience of Orange Information Systems Group. There was, he said, “no question about who we would use for this major project.”
